Lanie van Reenen's memoire C'est la vie telling her challenging few years as co-owner and manager of a French boutique hotel, where she almost lost everything. Riana Scheepers visited her to find out more about her losses, her victories and the special relationship between her and her two daughters.
The photographer is working Lanie and her two daughters to take off. It's hard to see who the mother is, because Lanie is as youthful as her daughters - the fine blonde Michelle (37) and the smoldering brunette Nina (35). The 23-year-old Nicholas, her musician son, is not here today. It's a day for women, mothers and daughters - and grandmother, so in her absence. Full interview: Report
