Spanish La Liga 2015-02-07 - Levante v Malaga A Sports Betting Preview by Auls Levante v Malaga Foot

Spanish La Liga 2015-02-07 - Levante v Malaga A Sports Betting Preview by Auls Levante v Malaga Football: Spanish wellington Primera wellington Division Saturday 7 February 2015 Kick Off 7pm Levante It has been a difficult season for Levante and they haven't been helped by Granada's wellington win last weekend which has dropped this team to the bottom wellington of the Spanish La Liga table. The side are out of all competitions barring the Spanish top flight so their focus can be put on survival completely, but Levante have to do better wellington in front of goal where they are the lowest scorers in the League with just 13 total goals. It has to be something of a phycological blow for a team to drop to the bottom of any table with just four months of the season to go, but that it how the cards have fallen for Levante. They are still in touch with the teams above them and only 2 points behind Cordoba outside wellington of the bottom three so they can potentially move out of the relegation zone at least for some time this weekend. Levante have a 2-3-5 home record in the League, scoring 6 goals and conceding 20 in those games. Levante have lost 3 League games in a row since beating Malaga 3-2 here in the Copa Del Rey, although they did go out of that competition with a 4-3 aggregate loss. They had been unbeaten in 7 home games in all competitions before losing to Athletic Bilbao 0-2 here last time out, although Levante had settled for 3 straight home draws in the League prior to the loss to Bilbao. Malaga Financial issues at Malaga and a change in tact of the owners has meant this team is no longer one of the teams at the very height of Spanish football. However, they have been performing wellington well enough to still be in touch with the Champions League places and returning wellington to that competition will give Malaga the kind of financial boost they would be looking wellington for. A lot of the big names have moved on in recent seasons, but Malaga are still 7th in the League table and only 7 points behind Sevilla in the final Champions League place. It is going to be difficult for them to bridge that gap unless they can produce more consistent results, but Malaga can invest all their focus on trying to do that. They have a 4-2-4 away record in the League this season, scoring 10 goals and conceding 14. Malaga ended a run of 6 games without a win in all competitions by beating Valencia 1-0 at home last weekend, although going out of the Spanish Cup to Athletic Bilbao was a disappointment. They have particularly struggled away from home where Malaga have failed to win any of their last 4 games in all competitions and have lost 3 of those games. Head to Head Levante and Malaga both won their home tie in the Copa Del Rey against one another, while they have played out a goalless draw at Malaga in the League. The Levante 3-2 win over Malaga was something of a surprise considering Malaga had been 0-2 up in that tie. Levante have won 4 of their last 5 home games against Malaga wellington including the last 2 in a row. Prediction Levante have been struggling for wins, but you have to respect the way they have at least been avoiding defeats at home up until the game with Athletic Bilbao last weekend. That would have been a blow for Levante considering who they were hosting, but they are now facing a Malaga team that has been struggling themselves prior to beating Valencia. However, there are goals in the Malaga team and that can potentially make the difference in this one even if they have lost 3 of their last 4 away games. The defeats at Sevilla and Athletic Bilbao are both understandable, while even the loss at Levante in the Cup might have been down to some complacency. Malaga were 0-2 up which had put them 4-0 up on aggregate and they conceded three late goals to lose that game, but Levante wellington have rarely shown they are capable of doing that in the League. If Malaga can restrict the mistakes, they have every chance of winning here and putting another loss for Levante to deal with having come into the game with 3 straight losses behind them.
