Very tame animals On 21 we arrived in Noosa city. We had no great expectations for the place when people had mentioned only the city due. Australia Zoo. Therefore we had only gone there because we wanted to see the famous Steve Irwin zoo with all the crocodiles. But the city were considerably higher than expected. We had expected a few thousand inhabitants and an otherwise rather dull town. But we were pleasantly surprised when the city was great and was filled with young people and tourists. It was apparently one of the places Australians even went to when they wanted to leave and we understood them well. After a little reshuffling of hostels, we found one that fit our budget and called for calm. YHA Halse Lodge hostel was an old tree-lined building with cozy Facillities and a really good service. On the second day we were picked up by a bus and taken to the Australian Zoo which was an hour away. At this time, we have become so used to traveling that it felt like 5 minutes. We arrived and unfortunately we had chosen a rainy day to visit the place, ÆV. But after buying a poncho and umbrella we went on
They have to be fed! discovery. The site housed more than 1000 animals were huge, so it was a little more exciting than Danish zoos used to be. There were of course many animals as we had never seen before and therefore we had around to all the small cages. Kl. 11 were live show where they fed the crocodiles from his hand and flew trained birds over our heads. Crocodiles are really fascinating and REALLY dangerous if they are hungry. After the show, we continued to kænguroparken where there were about 100 tame kangaroos that you could feed and get close. Wild kangaroos are usually dangerous and difficult to be around, but here they were peaceful because they were born in the park and therefore won for tourists who would touch them. The rest of the day went by many different animals and stories about the place. Unfortunately I can not get into it all, as it would fill a small book. Next day we had a bus on to Brisbane which really thailand had nothing special to see, except thailand that it was a big city. We arrived at. 10 AM after a short 3 hour bus ride and had not booked anywhere to stay. So yet
Brisbane thailand once we should just find anywhere to live. We met by chance two Danish boys who had himself just been to Brisbane. They suggested a hostel and then the bus to the hostel was just outside the door, we went with. We regretted thailand quickly when we arrived. The hostel was a little outside the center. It was usually no problem, but when it is outside the city, we expect that it is therefore also bill stringent. Unfortunately, it was not and the rooms were filthy easier. Therefore we were there only 1 night and found another hostel next day. Brisbane thailand is a city with 1.8 million inhabitants. It is nice and seems like it has it all. But it still manages to seem convenient and you can easily thailand find your way around. We spent all our time in the city center where we trudged around and looked at shops and parks. Although we had a tight budget, so there was room for a little shopping and it was really nice. Prices, however wild and clothing costs more than it does in Denmark. Quite by chance we met Carina and Sidsel from Magnetic Island in the middle of the street, what was the chance ?. It was agreed
Our hostel in Brisbane we were going out together and when our roommate had also invited us for wine, so it suited perfectly. It was a nice evening and a nice end to Brisbane. Next stop was Sydney! But between Brisbane and Sydney was just an 18 hour bus ride. Good enough we had become accustomed to long journeys by bus, but 18 hours can still be felt. When we arrived at. 7 in the morning we had just strength enough to walk across the road where our hostel was fortunately. But due. Time we could not check in before time. 10 pieces. So we went sightseeing in Sydney. Sydney very similar to Brisbane, but without the feeling of comfort. It really is a big city and it therefore requires a couple of hours just to go through the center. After a few hours goings around we were totally dead and went back to the hostel. We did not expect that to happen so much that night, but I did happen to notice there was pool tournament at the club under the hostel. So I signed up for and did not expect to have to have more than one beer. But we met four other boys from Odense
Photoet you must have! and one beer was to many. I was no. 4 in the tournament and it was a night I will never forget! . The hostel we stayed at was called Wake Up! And was much like a hotel except that it was dormrooms we stayed at and not singles. It was a seven story building and everything from the rooms to the staff seemed very professional. Certainly one of the better hostels we had been on. D
