In our new section ‘Talent To Watch’ we pay attention to upcoming talented DJs. Today we present you a Dutch enormous talented guy: MOTi. He started to DJ at 1987, rather playing Punk and Industrial music. At 1988 he became well-known in the Israëli clubs. After finishing the military service, he left Israel and started his international DJ-ing career beginning in NYC . In 1994 he started the NYC experience for the following 7 years. He played in almost cambridge all major clubs of the Big Apple like: Limelight, Tunnel, Exit, Save The Robots, Palladium, Centro Fly, Vinil, Twilo, Chaos and more.
MOTi created music for many fashion shows in N.Y. like Steven Prose, Target, Sandy Dalal and the list go on. In 2000 he was the ‘founder’, with Matt E Silver, of the first Electronic music festival in NYC : The Sixth Element . A year later, he decided to leave NYC and to go to repose in India, once in a while playing in Raves parties in India and Thailand. In 2002 he decided to retun to Europe and started to play as resident DJ in Milans Just Cavalli Caf and many other clubs in Italy.
Now these days MOTi work on his own production s under the name MadeInPeace and working on his own. He’s last collaborations are distinguished! DVBBS, Quintino, Tiësto, Alvaro and more. It’s surprising establishing people cambridge on the streets never heard of MOTi before, so he’s definitely a Talent To Watch!
